Co-Owner and Business Strategist John McIlhattan
John is born and raised in Bozeman, MT. He's 6th generation, growing up next to Bridger Creek Golf Course on McIlhattan Rd. He's currently stationed in Huntersville, NC. In July 2017 he had his second back surgery, so you won't see him around the actual truck in 2018 but he works hard behind the scenes. When he's not working to perfect the customer experience of Chef's Table he's a day trader in Futures, Forex, Options and Cryptocurrency trading. He's very passionate in health and fitness as well as volunteering.
Co-Owner and Executive Chef Ryan Cotterell
Ryan’s dream as a kid was to be a chef when he grew up. Throughout the years he has been a Chef at several Restaurants, Guest Ranches, and even as an Executive Chef for a hospital. Through it all he has refined his cooking techniques & skills. Ryan is very passionate about cooking simple food, which he defines by using fewer ingredients in dishes and focusing on the quality of the ingredients. He is French trained, but has experience cooking French, American, Ethnic, Vegan, & Vegetarian dishes. Ryan is a big believer in sustainability and believes that everyone can help reduce waste in landfills. He lives in Bozeman, MT; when he is not traveling or jet setting with his wife Ashley and 3 children; Micah, Callie, & Rylee. Ryan believes that Chef’s Table Food Truck will revolutionize the mobile food industry and fine dining in Montana and the surrounding states.
Manager and Events Coordinator Ashley Cotterell
Ashley was born in Texas, she then moved with her family to Washington State in 2000 where she spent most of her life before moving to Montana in 2012. Ashley had no idea this move to Montana would become a permanent life long love story. In 2012 she started working for KMG Hospitality where she fell in love with the idea serving others and the food industry. In 2013 she started dating her now husband Chef Ryan Cotterell, the two were inseparable. Not only did they share the passion of their love for food but also their passion for the value of family. The two now have three beautiful children. Since leaving KMG, Ashley has been a stay at home mom and has been helping her husband achieve any goal or dream he has. Ashley now is the events coordinator and book keeper for Chef’s Table Food Truck.
